TREND ALERT: LONG&LEAN

In my opinion it was ''normcore'' that brought about long&long/ big&big
line to the trend.
It's so fresh though a bit too difficult especially for small ladies like me.

The tips for avoiding looking dishevelled are to use colors, and try a pleated long
skirt. The flared hem would save you and elongate your frame effectively.

LONG AND LEAN

Hi, everyone! I'm so sorry for the long absence.

I've been away from blogging for almost two months as I got injured
during my trip to Philippines.
I had a fall and sprained my foot. I managed to walk about for two weeks with a swollen foot (almost doubled). And had never known my foot was actually
fractured till I went to a clinic back in Tokyo.
That was a horrible, painful experiment. I got a cast on, and had to put men's size
Birkenstock sandal on the injured foot even at night parties.

Tasted such bitterness, the sweet happiness I'm feeling now is even more special
than before. The foot was healed and I can wear heels!!
Heels, oh my goodness, I've desperately longed for......!!

Also I'm so happy to be here, coming back to my blogging routine that
gives creative moment to my life.

GO FORWARD TO '60S MOD STYLE!!

For the past years, the fashion cycle is making a huge swing right into
the 1960's. The warning is: Mod revival.
Not to mention, it's not the culture I touched in my youth, so definitely
my thrust for something new is now there. It looks so fresh, so different,
so feminine and so vibrant to me.

THE ALLURE OF BOLD COLORS

Discover the allure of mixing colors this autumn.
Gray + smoky pastels, beige + pop colors, khaki + neon hues,
or maybe burgundy + light blue/deep blue would look so vibrant to your eyes.

It's something like making a floral bouquet, creating an unexpected
palette will definitely bring a fresh air to your wardrobe.

WORK FOR LUCK

Lately, I've been hooked on painting: mainly abstract genre by acrylic colors.
That happened all of sudden. it was a night three weeks ago, I was to go to bed.
Having a cup of water before sleeping and stood in a hallway......then I came
up with the idea like hit by thunder. The specific image struck my head and I
stood still for a while.
The next day, I rushed to an art material shop, bought a huge campus, brushes,
and colors to paint the picture I'd been inspired.
The red area infers the celestial world, white is the world we live, the deep blue
line stands for time flow, and the deep red line means ''dreams''.

That's not a difficult, complicated structure.The composition is so-to-speak
a simple color block. But the story didn't end at this point.
I painted this by instinct. To be honest I was totally taken away.
Singing, dancing, and mumbling to myself... I was totally in a trance mode.

After that, wonders happened in a row. The jobs went  well, more than I'd
expected and the wishes came true one by one. I'd always wanted to
find jobs that would allow me to travel overseas. I got that. I had worried about the
tough problems. They were solved.

To flatter this luck more, I put that on a standby screen of my cell phone
and had my nails manicured in the same way.

Well, honestly I hesitated a bit whether I should write this post or not.....
It sounds like a kind of a good luck charm. Or odd for someone maybe.
But more than anything, I would be so glad if some of my precious
readers feel something new or get energized by this painting.

Thanks you for reading!! Wish you a lovely weekend filled with happiness
and great company!!

HOW TO MAKE A HEAVENLY CLOSET

Right after I finished making a new kitchen, I got down to closet renovation......
to turn a tiny room into an ultimate haven.
To tell you the truth, my previous closet was such a poor-looking one,
only stainless pipes on MDF (thin wooden board) walls......never looked nice
or organized.
The lack of an organized closet has always made me want to create my own
system that would make storing my clothes and shoes practical and more
importantly please my eyes.

Here, I'm so happy to share my renovated closet with you.
As hard as it is to believe, turning a small room into a dream wardrobe system
was easier than I thought, with several hints of using visionary upsizing illusion.

1. Choose custom-made drawers.
If your closet is small like mine, be brave to customize drawers.
Pre-made ones might not fit the size of your room and leave extra spaces that cannot be utilized.

2. Mix dark and bright colors.
Contrast of colors makes your room so stylish and sharp. I chose ivory inside the panels, walls, and ceiling, with dark brown on flooring and accent lines on panels.

3. Try mirrored face plates.
This is the best tip to make your room seem larger! As the mirrored plates reflect flooring, this trick creates the illusionary contiguous floor.

4. Put statement ceiling lights
Lighting is always important when decorating rooms. I believe the extra-large lights would lead the eyes up to the ceiling and widen your vision.

5. Furnish a mid-sized center table
A center table in a closet is a practical item anyway. When you are back home,
you're gonna put your bag on it, or you can style your outfits on the table.
Of course decorating the table with flowers is even nicer.

CHILLY SPICE TO BLOW THE CHILL

I suppose this winter is harshest ever with the huge swings of temperature,
shines, snows, blows in a day.
This time of the year I should to pull out the items that remind me of the
coming spring.
I'm a huge fan of moto jackets. Love how they works very well against
sweet items/colors.
